Make Your Own Mickey and Minnie Cookie Pops
Celebrate your Disney fandom with these super cute Mickey and Minnie cookie pops! Not only are they adorable, but these bite-sized treats are also delicious. Made from the Oreo cookies we all know and love, cookie pops are a delicious way to enjoy an Oreo. Serve these tasty treats at your next Disney-themed party, or make a batch with the kids this weekend!
Ingredients:
- Oreo cookies
- Mini Oreo cookies
- White chocolate, melted
- Popsicle sticks
- Red chocolate, melted (Mickey)
- Red fondant (Minnie)
Mickey Mouse Directions:
- Separate the two sides of an Oreo cookie.
- Dip the top cookie in melted red chocolate. Let it sit until chocolate is hard.
- Dip a toothpick into the melted white chocolate, then draw two buttons on the red chocolate. Set aside.
- Using a popsicle stick, scoop a bit of melted white chocolate and glue the cream filling to the bottom Oreo cookie.
- Scoop a bit more of the melted white chocolate, then lay the stick on the cream filling. Cover the sandwich with the top cookie. Set aside.
- Separate the two sides of a mini Oreo cookie and remove the cream filling.
- Dip one side of the mini Oreo cookies into melted white chocolate, then stick into the gap of the Oreo cookies, positioning both cookies as ears.
Minnie Mouse Directions:
- Separate the two sides of an Oreo cookie.
- Using a popsicle stick, scoop a bit of melted white chocolate and glue the cream filling to the bottom Oreo cookie.
- Scoop a bit more of the melted white chocolate, then lay the stick on the cream filling. Cover the sandwich with the top cookie. Set aside.
- Separate the two sides of a mini Oreo cookie and remove the cream filling.
- Dip one side of the mini Oreo cookies into melted white chocolate, then stick into the gap of the Oreo cookies, positioning both cookies as ears.
- Use a rolling pin to roll a small a piece of red fondant.
- Using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut two small hearts from the fondant. Pinch a bit of fondant and roll it into a small ball.
- Use a toothpick to dab a bit of melted white chocolate below one of the ears. Position the two hearts with the tips touching then put the small fondant ball in the middle.
