Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Step 1: Combine sugar, salt, and cocoa through a sieve

Combine sugar, salt, and cocoa through a sieve. Then, add milk and whisk well until it is thoroughly blended. You don’t have to worry about the lumps as it would go away once you start heating the mixture.

Step 2: Place pan over medium heat

Place pan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Stir the mixture from time to time. Afterward, lower the heat to avoid scorching.

Step 3: Get a pan and grease it using some butter

As the fudge is cooking, get the pan that will hold the fudge and grease it using butter.

Step 4: Check the mixture using a thermometer

After 10 minutes of boiling, check the doneness of the mixture. You can do this with a thermometer. When the temperature reaches 235 degrees Fahrenheit, it is ready.

Step 5: Turn off the heat and add in butter and vanilla

Turn off the heat and add in butter and vanilla. Place the pan in a sink filled with cold water. Hold the pan steady and use a wooden spoon to beat the fudge.

Step 6: Pour the fudge mixture into the greased pan

Get your prepared pan and pour in the fudge mixture.

Step 7: Let the fudge cool before cutting

Let the fudge cool before cutting. Cut the cake properly using a sharp knife with a thin blade. Be careful while using a sharp knife.

Step 8: Serve and enjoy!

Serve and enjoy with your family and friends.
