This one fruit wonder drink has been incredibly popular for a reason. Slices of lemon help raise a body’s pH level to an alkaline state. This is especially important for the body tissue of a person. So what are you waiting for? Load up on some lemons and flavor up your water today.

Ingredients:

  • Cold water
  • Warm water
  • Half of a lemon

Step 1: Squeeze lemon juice into a glass.

Step 2: Mix in the water and drink.

  • Sliced strawberries
  • Sliced cucumber

Aside from adding chia seeds to your yogurt and smoothies, why not add a tablespoon to your water as well? Don’t forget to shake and let the seeds sit for about 10 minutes to let them absorb the water. For a touch of flavor, feel free to add lime juice and agave nectar.

Ingredients:

  • Water
  • Chia seeds
  • Lime juice
  • Agave nectar

Step 1: Add chia seeds to a jar or glass filled with water. Shake well and let this sit for at least 10 minutes.

Step 2: Add lime juice and agave nectar to taste. Shake well before serving.

7. Flat Belly Detox Water

Make this flat belly detox water by placing raspberries, dates, and lemon slices at the bottom of a jar. For an extra kick of citrus, you can also add 1 drop of lemon essential oil.

  • Raspberries
  • Dates
  • Lemon (cut in half)

What I love about this spa water recipe is how you can enjoy it all year long because you can use both fresh or frozen berries. Personally, I recommend buying organic ones at the farmer’s market.

Ingredients:

  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Slices of lemon
  • Water

Step 1: Mix together half a cup each of blueberries and raspberries, a cup of lemon slices, and 3 cups of water.

Step 2: Let this steep overnight and pour into a glass to drink the day after.

9. Dr. Oz’s Weight Loss Water

I make this detox water whenever we have an extra bag of grapefruits. Just remember not to add too much of the grapefruit slices. A few extra slices can turn the water slightly bitter.

Ingredients:

  • Cucumber slices
  • Tangerine slices
  • Grapefruit slices
  • WaterPeppermint

Step 1: Mix together the first three ingredients in a pitcher.

Step 2: Pop a peppermint in.

Step 3: Leave this in the fridge for 1-2 hours then enjoy.

  • Cucumber
  • Mint leaves

Step 1: Thinly slice the green apples and place these inside a pitcher of water.

Step 2: Grab your mint leaves and remove the leaves from the stems. Crush them as well to bring out the herb’s flavor.
