Let's get into some crockpot chicken spaghetti recipes and you'll see how simple they are to make with the help of your crockpot.
One thing we love about crockpots is how much effort it saves you and the ability to literally set it and go about your day while your food cooks on its own. This crockpot chicken spaghetti recipe we're going to share with you takes about 15-20 minutes to prep and your crockpot will take care of the rest, so let's get started!
Cheesy Crockpot Chicken Spaghetti
Ingredients:
- 1 large carrot
- half of a yellow onion
- 1/2 each of green and red pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups of chicken broth
- 2 boneless chicken breasts with skins removed
- 1 box of spaghetti noodles
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of corn starch
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Step 1: Prep the Ingredients
Begin by dicing up the onion, red and green peppers into relatively even and small pieces and place in your crockpot. Next, peel and shred your carrot and add it to the pot.
We love the subtle flavor carrots give to sauces, especially tomato sauces. Next time you make a tomato sauce, instead of using sugar, try adding in some finely grated carrot. It'll give you the same added sweetness without the sugar.
Step 2: Build the Flavors
Let's continue building up those flavors! Next, we're going to add in our paprika, salt & pepper, and minced garlic. Make sure to finely mince up your garlic to fully distribute that garlicky flavor throughout your sauce.
Step 3: Add the Broth and Chicken
Next, add in the chicken broth and give everything a good stir. If you're watching your salt intake or prefer a less sodium version, you can substitute in low sodium chicken broth for this recipe. Afterward, add in your chicken breasts and make sure they're submerged in your liquid.
Step 4: Set the Crock Pot
Next, our favorite step. Set your slow cooker on high and cook for 2 hours. However, if you're not going to eat dinner until later on in the day, you can set your cooker to low and cook for 4 hours. Once the time is up, shred up your chicken and give everything a good stir.
Step 5: Add the Pasta
Next, break up your pasta and add it to your slow cooker. You may need to break it up into halves or even quarters, depending on the size of your cooker. Place the lid back on, stir and cook for about 10 minutes or until the pasta is al dente.
Step 6: Add the Cheese
Lastly, it's time to put the cheesy in this cheesy crockpot chicken spaghetti recipe. Whisk together corn starch and milk, paying attention to smooth out any lumps before adding to your slow cooker alongside the cheese.
Stir everything and cook on the high setting for 5 more minutes. Remove the lid and stir one last time before serving to distribute the sauce for your crockpot chicken spaghetti.

Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Spaghetti
We love this recipe for the fact that it's super handy when you may not be in the mood but you still want some delicious chicken spaghetti for dinner. Also, it has that delicious tomato-based sauce we generally associate with spaghetti.
Compared to the previous recipe this one requires less prep work and utilizes some shortcuts such as canned sauce and cream of chicken soup. With that said, let's get started on this next crockpot chicken spaghetti recipe!
Ingredients:
- 2 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce
- 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
- 2 teaspoons each of dried basil and dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 8 ounces of cream cheese
- 2 pounds of chicken breast
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 pound of spaghetti pasta
Step 1: Add the Tomato Sauce and of Cream of Chicken Soup
Firstly, add in your 2 cans of tomato sauce and cans of cream of chicken soup. Even if the sauce looks particularly thick at this point, do not add any water. Next, add in your dried basil, oregano, and garlic powder.
Step 2: Add the Cream Cheese and Chicken
Next, cube your cream cheese and add it to your crockpot. The chicken breasts you have should be skinless but if they still have the skin on, you can go ahead and remove it.
Dice up your chicken and add it to the pot as well. Give the mixture a good stirring before returning the lid to your pot. Set your cooker to low and cook for 6 hours.
Step 3: Add the Cooked Spaghetti
Cook your spaghetti a little before al dente as it will continue cooking once you place it in the crockpot with the sauce. Make sure to drain your pasta well before adding it. Neglecting this step may result in your sauce coming out watery.
Step 4: Add Cheese
The last step is to top your pasta with mozzarella cheese and place the lid back on to allow the cheese to melt. This should only take 5-10 minutes and you can do this right before serving this crockpot chicken spaghetti dish.
