Smoothie bowls are one of the newest and biggest breakfast trends, with nearly 400,000 photos posted on Instagram under the hashtag #smoothiebowl. Packed with tropical fruits, crisp vegetables, crunchy nuts and bits of rich chocolate, each smoothie bowl is unique to its creator. While it’s exceptionally customizable, that’s not the best thing about these smoothie bowls. No, the cherry on top is that it’s extremely easy to prepare and it’s actually healthy for you.
Ditch the boring old breakfast you’re accustomed to and instead make yourself a delicious morning smoothie bowl for breakfast. It’s the right way to start your morning.
Step 1: Cut Frozen Fruit
Prepare your frozen berries, mango and banana by cutting each of them into small slices. This makes it easier for the blender to do its job.
Step 2: Blend
Toss the fruit into the blenders and add the rolled oats and milk as well. Blend when you’re ready.
Step 3: Decorate
Once your smoothie is done, transfer into a bowl.
Get creative with it and add chunks of strawberries, grated coconut, bits of chocolate seeds and anything else you love.
