What You'll Need:

  • Chicken drumstick (washed and dried)
  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • curry powder
  • paprika
  • chicken seasoning
  • cayenne pepper
  • 25 grams butter

Step 1

Get a clean plastic bag. This bag will be used to mix the spices you will toss your drumsticks in.

Step 2

Put all the spices into the bag and give it a nice shake to mix them together well.

Step 3

Place the chicken drumsticks inside the plastic bag and shake it vigorously to ensure the drumsticks are nice and evenly coated with spices.

Step 4

After giving the chicken a nice shake, open the bag and check if the drumsticks are coated and well-seasoned.

Step 5

Next, get a baking tin and cover it with tin foil.

Step 6

Put the butter in the baking tin and place the tin inside your preheated oven. Wait until the butter has melted.

Step 7

After the butter has melted, slowly spread it all over the baking tin.

Step 8

Place the drumsticks into the baking tin.

Step 9

Leave the chicken inside the oven for about 30 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 Celsius). If you have a bigger or thicker part of a chicken such as the thigh, give it an extra 10-15 minutes to bake.

Step 10

After 30 minutes, pull the baking tin out and turn the drumsticks over.

Step 11

Place the baking tin back into the oven and cook for 30 minutes more.

Step 12

After the second 30 minutes, your drumsticks are cooked and ready to go! Place them on a table and let cool for 5-10 minutes.

Step 13

Transfer the drumsticks onto a plate and gather the butter sauce your chicken cooked in.

Step 14

Pour the remaining sauce onto the chicken.

Your well-seasoned, butter baked chicken drumsticks are ready to be served and enjoyed!
