Mix the egg, sugar, and peanut butter first until mixture is smooth. Then, add 3/4 of the chocolate chips. Mix again so that the chocolate chips are part of the mixture.
Step 2: Lay the cookie dough on a baking pan
Scoop the cookie dough with an ice cream scooper and lay them on a baking pan with equal spaces in between. Add the remaining chocolate chips to the dough and flatten them with your hands.
Step 3: Bake
Put them in the oven until the edges of the dough start to brown. Let them cool after baking to achieve perfect cookie softness.
Peanut Butter-Filled Cheesecake Popsicle
What You’ll Need:
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 150g chocolate for coating
- sprinkles
- 4 tbsp icing/powdered sugar
- popsicle sticks
Step 1: Mix the ingredients
Using a hand mixer, mix the cream cheese, peanut butter, and sugar until mixture is smooth.
Step 2: Put the mixture in a small square container
Transfer the mixture into a small square container lined with baking paper and flatten it. Use a knife to slice the mixture into 9 small squares. Put a popsicle stick in each square. Refrigerate.
Step 3: Decorate
Once frozen, take the mixture out of the refrigerator. Cut the mixture following the nine squares. Dip into chocolate and then into some sprinkles. Let it sit for a while on a sheet of baking paper. Then, dig in!
Peanut Butter Cups
What You’ll Need:
- 150g chocolate
- mini cupcake liners
- 1 cup icing/powdered sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
Step 1: Line mini cupcake liners with chocolate
Fill the mini cupcake cases with chocolate. Use a spoon to push the chocolate up to the sides. Set aside.
Step 2: Make the filling
Mix warm peanut butter with some icing sugar until smooth.
Step 3: Put filling in the mini cupcake liners
Take two tablespoons of the filling and put it inside the mini cupcake liners filled with chocolate. Flatten it with your hands and cover it with chocolate. Let it sit for a while in the fridge, and then peel off the cupcake liner. Enjoy.
Peanut Butter Fudge
What You’ll Need:
- 200g chocolate (dark and white)
- 1 cup minus 2 Tbsp peanut butter
Step 1: Microwave the peanut butter with chocolate
Put each type of chocolate in a peanut butter mixture and then put each in the microwave. Mix using a spoon until you achieve a smooth fudge texture.
Step 2: Mix the chocolate
On a tray lined with baking paper, pour the two bowls of chocolate and then mix with a fork so you get a marbled effect. Let it sit in the fridge.
Step 3: Slice and enjoy
Once firm, take out the mixture and slice into small squares to serve.
Twisted Peanut Butter and Jelly Bread
What You’ll Need:
- 1/4 cup milk (4% fat) warmed to 98F
- 2 eggs
- bread dough
- 1/4 cup water warmed to 98F
- 2 ¾ cups flour
- 3 tsp yeast
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Step 1: Flatten and line the dough
Flatten the dough into a large rectangle. Cut it in half. One one half, spread a thin layer of jam. Use the other half to cover the layer of jam as if making a sandwich.
Step 2: Spread the peanut butter
On top of the second half of dough covering the jam, spread peanut butter.
Step 3: Roll, Twist, and Bake
Starting on one side, roll up the dough with the help of a baking paper. Once rolled, slice it in down the center (lengthwise) to reveal the layers. With the layers facing up, join one end together and twist alternately until the end. Leave in a warm place to rise and then bake until golden brown.
