Mocktails Meaning: These are nonalcoholic drinks that consist of a combination of fruits, juices, and fizzy drinks. Festive mocktails are the perfect way to get everyone in on the fun at a party, regardless of age or drinking preference.

Valentine's Day is for everyone

and even the kids can take part in the festivities, since it only happens once a year. It's a celebration of love, which needs to be special and romantic for love birds, families, and circles of friends.

And because not everyone enjoys alcohol, I decided to put together delicious and refreshing creative mocktails great for Valentine's Day. So ready your jars, pitchers, and punch bowls–share some love with these tasty blended mocktails on Valentine's Day!

1. Pink Sherbet Punch

Who would’ve thought this fizzy and frothy drink only requires two ingredients? Add some frozen raspberries on top for a more exciting mocktail experience.

Ingredients:

  • 1 carton raspberry sherbet
  • 2 liters ginger ale
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries

Instructions:

  1. Scoop out the raspberry sherbet and transfer it to a punch bowl.
  2. Pour the ginger ale into the bowl of sherbet. Note that the bowl will get fizzy and foam up so make sure you pour the ale slowly and carefully.
  3. Let the mixture sit for around 15 minutes until the soda melts the sherbet and then serve these sweet mocktails!

Tip:

Add some frozen raspberries on top for a more exciting mocktail experience!

2. Sangria Mocktail

Enjoy a nonalcoholic sangria loaded with fruit chunks on Valentine’s Day. Not only does it looks amazing, but it also tastes like you’re on a Valentine island escapade.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 orange
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 1/2 cans sparkling water
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 green apple
  • 1/2 red apple
  • 3 cups white grape juice
  • 1/2 cup strawberries

Instructions:

  1. Chop all the fruits into cubes and then place in a large pitcher.
  2. Pour in the sparkling water and fruit juices.
  3. Stir, then let the drink chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of two hours.

Tip:

These types of fruit mocktails are best served in a large bowl or goblet. That way, you can easily scoop out the fruit chunks and slices.

3. Mexican Chocolate Mocktail

Experience a milky and chocolaty ride with this truly indulgent Mexican mocktail. It has a mild spice from ground cinnamon which complements the sweet chocolate flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups almond milk, chilled
  • Red sugar
  • Light corn syrup

Instructions:

  1. Take a small pot and then fill it with the sugar, cinnamon, cocoa powder, and water.
  2. Heat the pot over low to medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Set the mixture aside to cool, and then place in the refrigerator until it chills.
  4. While waiting for the mixture to chill, pour the corn syrup and red sugar into two separate small bowls.
  5. Dip the edges of your glass or goblet into the syrup and red sugar respectively to coat the rim with a delicious garnish.
  6. Take out the cocoa mixture from the refrigerator and then mix in the almond milk.
  7. Pour the contents into your coated glasses.

  • 230 grams mixture of frozen strawberry fruit and syrup
  • 130 ml sparkling apple cider
  • Colored sanding sugar

Instructions:

  1. Cover the rim of your glasses in sanding sugar, preferably red. This makes your drink look like one of the expensive, fancy mocktails you see in restaurants. Set aside.
  2. Mix all the remaining ingredients in a blender. Pulse until they form a thick, rich consistency.
  3. Pour in the glasses you prepared and then serve.

  • 2 liters Sprite or 7-Up, chilled
  • Frozen raspberries

Instructions:

  1. Get a baking dish, line it with plastic wrap, and then scoop the sherbet onto it. Place in the freezer until it freezes.
  2. Pour the club soda, 7-Up or Sprite, and fruit juices in a large punch bowl. Stir until the ingredients are well-combined.
  3. Top off with scoops of frozen sherbet and raspberries before serving at your mocktails party.

6. Cherry Bomb Mocktail

  • 2 Tbsp. rose water
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • Fresh rose petals
  • Pomegranate juice (for added color)

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients, except for the rose petals, in a cocktail shaker then mix.
  2. Pour the drink in a highball glass and then garnish with rose petals.

Tip:

If you're into vegan mocktails, replace the honey with agave.

Fresh strawberries, pineapple juice, and coconut cream come together to make this awesomely sweet and creamy drink. It’s an easy mocktail recipe to whip up on Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients:

  • 100 ml pineapple juice
  • 60 ml simple syrup
  • 100 ml coconut cream
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 7 large strawberries
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Pulse the coconut cream, pineapple juice, and ice in a blender. Pour in a small container then set aside.
  2. Next, blend the lime juice, simple syrup, strawberries, and ice. Pour in a small container then set aside.
  3. Pour the two mixtures in a glass alternately. You should form multiple layers of the two mixtures.

Homemade Rosemary-Based Simple Syrup

  • 3 rosemary sprigs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Mocktail mix

  • 2 cups pink grapefruit juice
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • ¼ cup homemade rosemary simple syrup

InstructionsSimple Syrup:

  1. Heat the water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium fire. Continue cooking for five minutes until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Note not to boil the mixture or the sugar will harden into crystals.
  3. Once ready, pour in a heat-resistant cup, throw in the rosemary sprigs, and then let the mixture sit for one hour.
  4. You can keep this rosemary simple syrup fresh for at least 10 days in the refrigerator. Feel free to use it to make other healthy mocktails.

Mocktail mix:

  1. Pour half a cup of grapefruit juice in a glass.
  2. Scoop in a tablespoon of your homemade rosemary simple syrup.
  3. Stir and then pour in some sparkling water until the glass is full.
  4. Top off with some rosemary sprigs.
