Salsa recipes are quick and easy. One thing that you have to love about salsa is the fact that it is not only healthy– it is delicious as well! One taste of this amazing dish and you can certainly have a taste of the perfect blend of flavors, ranging from fruity to spicy to heavenly delicious.

 How To Make Salsa: Recipe

Salsa is a must have for every party. It is the perfect accompaniment for tacos, salads, quesadillas and even  bread. If you wish to make salsa ,but you’ve never done it before, it is best that you start with the classic tomato salsa recipe. This recipe will not involve cooking– only lots of chopping, and mixing.

Purchasing store-bought salsa will not seem attractive to you any longer once you have perfected this recipe.

Ingredients:

8 pieces of tomatoes

15 sprigs of cilantro

2 pieces of jalapeno

½ piece of onion

6 cloves of garlic

½ cup of olive oil

juice from 2 pieces of lime

add salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Step 1.

Get all the ingredients and chop it into smaller pieces. Get your chopped garlic, jalapeno, onion, and tomatoes then place it in a bowl. Toss these in order to mix the ingredients.

Step 2.

Pour the olive oil and the lime juice into the bowl. Toss once again to completely coat the rest of the ingredients. Gently toss or mix it. Avoid mushing it all together as this can drain the juice from the tomato and you would not want that.

Step 3.

Have a taste of the resulting mix. Add salt depending on your taste preference. You can add salt in pinches. Avoid adding teaspoons of salt as it can make the salsa saltier than you want it to be.

Step 4.

Enjoy!

Additional tips:

  • Before adding salt, try tasting the salsa with the food you would want to eat it with, like a taco or a wrap. By doing this, you can be able to add the right amount of salt to your salsa mix.
  • You can try storing the salsa mix in the refrigerator a few hours before you will use it. This will allow the mixture to sit and the flavors to come together..

There you go– the simplest and the most delicious salsa you can ever taste.

What kind of recipe uses “pieces” as a measurement?? This could very greatly from person to person. Not to mention from vegetable to vegetable. A large tomatoe is going to yield much larger pieces than a small one, etc. Please provide a recipe with actual measurements!!
