Gotta eat 'em all! These Pikachu cake pops are a tasty treat for Pokemon fans of all ages.

Make Your Own Pikachu Cake Pops

Celebrate your Pokemon fandom with these super cute Pikachu cake pops! Not only are they adorable, but these bite-sized desserts are also super tasty. Made from a combination of cake crumbs and frosting (yum), cake pops are a delicious alternative to traditional cupcakes. These bright yellow bites are easy to make and even easier to eat – and they're just ridiculously cute. Serve these tasty treats at your next Pokemon-themed party, or make a batch for you and your friends this weekend!

Ingredients:

  • cake mix
  • ½ cup frosting
  • yellow candy melts
  • pink candy melts
  • black edible marker
  • lollipop sticks or paper straws

Directions:

  1. Bake the cake as directed on the box. Let it cool completely, then use a mixer to break your cake into small crumbs.
  2. In a large bowl, use your hands to mix the cake crumbs with the frosting.
  3. Take a bit of cake dough and form an oval for Pikachu’s head.
  4. Take little bits of cake and form two triangular shapes for Pikachu’s ears.
  5. Dip paper stick into the yellow candy, then stick it into the longer side of the oval cake dough. Allow the candy to harden.
  6. Dip the flat side of each ear piece into the yellow candy and position on the oval cake dough. Allow the candy to harden.
  7. Dip the entire head into the yellow candy. Tap on the side of the bowl to remove any excess. Set aside to harden.
  8. Once the candy has hardened, take a black edible marker and color the tips of Pikachu’s ears.
  9. Draw a small triangle in the middle of the face for nose, two eyes, and a horizontal number “3” for the mouth.
  10. Melt a little bit of pink candy and put in a piping bag. Pipe two circles for cheeks.
