Quinoa is a seed that contains high amounts of fibers–useful in promoting regular bowel movement and ensuring that the body is free from toxins. Quinoa Recipe: Easy and Delicious

You Will Need:

1 ½ cups of uncooked quinoa

2 ½ cups of water

1 piece of large carrot (chopped)

1 piece of small sized red onion (finely chopped)

3 – 4 pieces of kale leaves (chopped)

1 handful of baby tomatoes (cut in half)

1/2 of avocado (cut into chunks)

½ cup of broccoli florets (chopped)

½ cup of mixed seeds and nuts of your choice

veggies of your choice

For the dressing:

1/3 cup of olive oil

1 tablespoon of maple syrup

1/3 cup of balsamic vinegar

½ teaspoon of salt

2 teaspoon of Dijon mustard

a pinch of pepper

Procedure:

Get a strainer and place quinoa into it. Rinse well.

Place quinoa in a medium saucepan and add water. Bring the mixture to a boil then lower the heat and allow it to simmer for about 20 minutes. Once it is cooked, remove it from heat then allow to cool.

As you wait for the quinoa to cool, chop the veggies then place them in a salad bowl.

Place all the ingredients for the dressing in a blender and blend it well. Set the mixture aside.

Once the quinoa has cooled down a bit, mix in the chopped veggies and stir it well.

Add the dressing spoon by spoon until you have achieved the desired taste.
