Place sugar, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl. Don’t mix the dry ingredients just yet. Make a well in the center of all these ingredients then add the wet ingredients. Pour egg, oil, and milk in the middle then mix all ingredients until the pancake batter has a smooth texture.

Step 2: Ready your griddle pan and put it over medium heat

Get your griddle pan or your frying pan and put it over medium heat. Pour or scoop two to three tablespoons of pancake batter into the griddle. You can also try using ¼ cup of batter to cook one pancake.

Step 3: Cook the batter until it turns bubbly

Cook the batter until it turns all bubbly. This will take about two minutes then use a spatula to flip the pancake over. Cook the other side for another 2 minutes. Both sides of the pancake are ideally golden brown.

Tip: You can make homemade fluffy pancakes with a griddle pan! What makes a griddle-cooked pancake different from all other types of pancakes? When using a griddle pan, the outside surface of the pancake gets nice and crisp while the center remains light and fluffy!

These were amazing. I added lemon extract, the only thing i would change is maybe add less salt. These are going to be my go to mix. Thank you.
