Did you know that you can make homemade fluffy pancakes with a griddle pan! What makes a griddle-cooked pancake different from all other types of pancakes? When using a griddle pan, the outside surface of the pancake gets nice and crisp while the center remains soft and fluffy!

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 egg, beaten well
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil
- 1 cup milk
Step 1: Place sugar, flour, salt and baking powder in a large bowl
Place sugar, flour, salt and baking powder in a large bowl. Don’t mix the ingredients just yet. Make a well in the center of all these ingredients then pour egg, oil, and milk in the middle. Mix all ingredients until you have achieved a smooth mixture.
Step 2: Ready your griddle pan and put it over medium heat
Get your griddle pan or your frying pan and put it over medium heat. Pour or scoop two to three tablespoons of batter into the griddle. You can also try using about ¼ cup of batter to cook one pancake.
Step 3: Cook batter until it turns all bubbly
Cook batter until it turns all bubbly. This will take about two minutes. Then use a spatula to flip the pancake over. Cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
Step 4: Serve your homemade pancake with butter, maple syrup, or fruit slices
