Takeout-Style Beef and Broccoli Recipe | Homemade Recipes
Panda Express is cool, but the homemade stuff ALWAYS trumps unhealthy fast-food. The hard part is just learning how to make some of your favorite dishes, but that’s why we’re here. If you love Chinese food, we’ve got a takeout-style beef and broccoli recipe that goes perfect over white rice or a side of chow mein. In under half an hour, you can have yourself a delicious meal ready to enjoy!
Ingredients:
Step 1: Marinate Flank Steak
In a large bowl, combine the flank steak with the cornstarch and soy sauce.
Step 2: Sear Meat
In a pan with oil, sear the flank steak beef for a minute on each side. Set it aside and sauté the onion, garlic and ginger in the same pan (with more oil).
Step 3: Add Broccoli
After 3 minutes of cooking the onions, add the broccoli and sauté the entire thing for another 3 minutes. Throw in the beef stock, cornstarch, soy sauce, brown sugar and chili and stir.
Step 4: Mix in Beef & Serve
Cook the mixture for another 3 minutes, then add the beef and stir. Once it looks good, remove the pan from heat and serve.
