How to Make Nutella

Do you love Nutella and dream of being able to make giant vat’s of it without skipping a beat!? Don’t miss our homemade Nutella recipe where we’ll teach you all about making homemade Nutella from scratch. You’ll never go store-bought again!

 Nuttier Than Nutty: How To Make Nutella

 You’ll be needing the following:

  • 5 oz or about 2/3 cups of roasted unsalted hazelnuts
  • 3/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 oz or about 1/2 cup of unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsps of honey, agave nectar, or other liquid sweetener
  • a food processor

Procedure:

Step 1.

Put nuts in a 350F pre – heated oven. Toast them until they are brown and fragant. Don’t for get to stir every 3 – 4 minutes to prevent burning. Let them cool afterwards.

Step 2.

Put nuts in the food processor and grind it until it becomes a hazelnut paste. Add a pinch of salt for flavour. Then grind it again for 5 minutes until it becomes liquid. Set it aside.

Step 3.

Melt the chocolate into 4 cups of simmering water. Stir and cook until it smoothens out.

Step 4.

Add melted chocolate to hazelnut liquid in the food processor. Mix it until it becomes smooth. Add honey or sweetener to get your preferred level of sweetness.

Step 5.

Store in an airtight container.

    Step 1 – those are almonds.
    Step ? – where is the sweetened condensed milk used?
    Step?? – Nutella contains palm oil and this recipe doesn’t?
