Red Wine is the perfect complement to many different dishes, but its time to open up your mind to other types as well. While you may have a preference for one type of wine, the key is knowing which type pairs well with your meal. Since chicken is such a popular recipe in most kitchens today we'll show you which wines are best paired with different chicken recipes!

The Lambrusco sweet red wine featured above is the perfect complement if you're enjoying some delectable fried chicken. This sparkling and solar red wine is obtained from a range of Lambrusco grapes.

BBQ chicken tends to have a smokey flavor and then there's the robust flavor of the barbecue sauce that also comes into play. This meal requires a robust Zinfandel red wine like Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi—a full-bodied red wine with vanilla and toast flavors. Cabernet Franc and the ever popular Malbec are great options to pair with BBQ chicken as well.

4. Albarinõ- Paired with Chicken Salad

During the hot summer months, a salad for lunch or dinner is the perfect dish to keep you cool, and you know what also pairs well with a salad, a cool glass of white wine like this Montecillo Singladuras Albariño.

5. Sangiovese-Paired with chicken Pasta

Allamanda Sangiovese Puglia is a great option to pair alongside any type of spicy Italian dish such as chicken pasta. It works well with tomato based red sauces as well. This hefty red wine is from Italy and has hints of cherry with soft tannins.

6. Riesling -Paired with Sweet n Sour Chicken

This award winning Riesling medium dry by Huff Estates works well with sweet dishes and has a gentle balance of acidity and sweetness. You'll inhale aromas of white peach, spice, and white floral blossom notes while tasting orange and clementine flavors with a textured finish.

7. Moscato- paired with Curry Chicken

This spicy Indian dish needs something sweet to tame down the spiciness and heat. Well look no further than the popular Arbor Mist Pink Moscato, available in several different flavors. This is a delicious, light bodied wine which goes down quite smooth. I'm quite sure you will easily find this one in your local supermarket or anywhere wines are sold.
