- 3 pieces of large eggs
- ½ cup and 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
How To prepare Brownies From Scratch:
Place medium-sized sauce pan over medium heat and put the chopped chocolate and butter into it. Stir constantly and melt for about 5 minutes. Remove the pan from heat. Pour contents into a big mixing bowl. Set it aside to cool down for about ten minutes.
Place oven rack into the oven’s lower third position. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Get a 9×9 baking pan and line it with aluminum foil. Set it aside.
Place the sugars into your butter and chocolate mixture. Whisk it well.
Add the eggs into the bowl. Do this one by one. Whisk the mixture until it becomes smooth before adding the next egg. After that, add in the vanilla.
In a gentle manner, fold in the salt, cocoa powder and flour. Once the mixture is properly combined, you can fold in the semi sweet chocolate chips.
Pour the resulting batter into your lined baking pan. Place in the oven and bake for about 35-36 minutes. Check the oven to see if the brownies have already started to pull away from the edges of the baking pan. Once it does, you can remove it from the oven.
Set the pan on the wire rack to allow the brownies to cool down properly.
Once the pan has cooled down, you can remove the aluminum foil from the pan. Cut the brownies into squares. Then add whatever frosting you wish.
