A baked asparagus recipe that makes it a breeze to prepare your favorite vegetable.

Baked Asparagus Recipe

The Best Way To Cook Asparagus

As a side dish, asparagus fits its role nicely. It’s simple to prepare, requires only a handful of ingredients and takes little time to finish. When done, it pairs nicely with pretty much any main dish such as steak, chicken and fish. Add some mashed potatoes, rice, or a medley of other vegetables and you’ve got yourself a delicious and complete meal. Whether you like it seasoned in lemon garlic or sprinkled with parmesan cheese, easily learn how to bake asparagus thanks to Instructables’ user MichaelM2015.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of asparagus (see picture for reference)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 generous sprinkling of salt
  • seasoning of your choice (optional)

Step 1: Set Asparagus & Mince Garlic

Wash, dry and then place your bunch of asparagus onto a large baking sheet. Don’t stack them up on each other too much or else they won’t bake evenly. Now mince the garlic and sprinkle it all over the asparagus.

Step 2: Add Salt & Oil

Sprinkle salt generously over all of the asparagus. Do the same thing with 1/4 of a cup of oil. Use your hands to stir the asparagus so that the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 3: Bake Asparagus

Bake the asparagus in a preheated oven at 400F for about 15 minutes.

Step 4: Serve

Turn off the oven, take out the asparagus and serve them while hot! Your side dish is now complete!
