What You'll Need

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese (3/4 cup is much better)
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4 Tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • parsley flakes

Directions

Prep Time:

20 minutes

Cook Time: 12 minutes

* Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 1

Put your biscuit mix in a bowl.

Step 2

Add the cheddar cheese.

Step 3

Pour the milk into the mixture.

Step 4

Mix well with a wooden spoon for about 30 seconds until a nice, soft dough forms.

Step 5

Grab a cookie sheet and grease it with a butter spray.

Step 6

Spoon the dough into the greased cookie sheet.

Step 7

Smooth down the edges using the back of your spoon. Then, put them into the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until they become golden brown.

Step 8

While the biscuits are in the oven, prepare the toppings to be put on the biscuits for its final touch.

Step 9

Get your melted butter, garlic powder and dried parsley. Put the garlic powder into the melted butter and then give it a nice stir.

Step 10

After completely baked, the biscuits look so lovely and golden brown. It is now time to brush the top with your prepared butter and it should be done immediately after pulling the biscuits out of the oven.

Step 11

Sprinkle some parsley on top of the biscuits and you're done.
