It's been a while since we've posted a Masterchef recipe and that's a shame. We absolutely love the series (the season premiere is in 9 days!), so to prepare ourselves for a new season, we're posting this delicious MasterChef recipe: Beef, Vegetable, and Mushroom Pot Pie with Golden Mash. Enjoy!

Beef, Vegetable and Mushroom Pot Pie with Golden Mash

|

Pot pie is the greatest comfort food known to mankind. It's warm, flaky, buttery, and contains a delicious savory filling. It's a beautiful combination of savory and sweet and we're all for that. Today's MasterChef recipe is a beef pot pie that will probably make you forget chicken pot pies ever existed (no offense to chickens).

This Masterchef recipe is filled with tender beef, sauteed veggies and mashed potatoes to make a dish that's filling, hearty and every bit as comforting as your favorite blanket (or Snuggie).

Ingredients

  • 2 TSP oil
  • 750 G lean beef, mince
  • 200 G button mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 carrots, cut into 1 CM, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 CUP plain flour
  • 1×1 LITER pack Campbell's Real Stock – Vegetable
  • 1 CUP frozen peas
  • 1 sheet frozen ready-rolled puff pastry, just thawed
  • 800 G potatoes, peeled, diced
