What’s not to love about potatoes?!
Not only are they inexpensive, they come in at only 100 calories each and provide a great source of vitamins and minerals. Just one medium sized potato accounts for 45% of the daily recommended intake of vitamin C and has more potassium (620 mg) than bananas or spinach.
Another great thing about potatoes is that they’re highly versatile. YouTube channel Food, People, Place shows us just how creative you can get with potato, showcasing some of the more popular alternatives like french fries and potato salad as well as more unique options like skordalia, gnocchi, knedle and the hasselback potato, an extreme loaded potato sliced and filled with butter and cheese.
