Oh yeah, we love MasterChef. The excitement, the drama, and, most importantly, the food. Every time we watch an episode, we’re inspired to get up off the couch and whip up a meal worthy of 5 star restaurants and Bon Appetit. We also like to pretend we’re on the show by explaining what it is we’re doing and perfecting our camera-ready look of concentration (but don’t tell anyone we said that). So, because we love MasterChef (and don’t be afraid to admit you do too), we’ve put together a series of MasterChef recipes to make and wow your friends and family with. Enjoy!
Today’s MasterChef recipe is Seared Beef with Almond and Rochefort Crust.
Ingredients (makes 1 serving):
Rib eye beef
20g roughly chopped almonds
1 egg yolk
1 heaped tsp of roquefort or to taste
1 sprig of thyme
50g green beans
60g canned chick peas
