Not only does garlic make practically everything taste better, it also provides a boost to the immune system, helps lower high blood pressure, is a natural antibiotic that fights against bacteria and viruses and it improves heart health in a number of ways.

Really, there's nothing bad that you can say about garlic. Unless we're talking about peeling it.

Peeling a head of garlic is a pain in the ass. They're they're too small for peelers. This means you have to use your fingers to peel them, which is not only time consuming, but also leaves your hands reeking of garlic for hours.

Nobody wants that, right?

sticky and smelly fingers = gross

Thankfully, there's a way to peel and break apart a head of garlic without really using your fingers…in just a matter of seconds. YES! Using a bowl and a hard container, you can separate all the cloves with no skin attached in no time.

Check out the video below to learn just how easy it really is.

Peel A Head Of Garlic In Seconds

Step 1: Use A Bowl To Break The Garlic Apart

Start by placing the head of garlic on a table and crushing it with the bottom of a bowl. Swivel the bowl around as you press down, as it might be a bit hard at first to break up the garlic.

Step 2: Put Broken Garlic Into A Hard Container With A Lid

Once the garlic head is broken apart, throw everything into a hard container with a lid. Plastic containers work just as well as glass, through you'll want some room in the container so that the cloves can bounce around.

Step 3: Shake!!!

After the lid is closed on the container, shake the entire thing. The garlic will break apart even more and the skin will begin to peel off, thanks to the impact of force between the container the cloves. Do this for about 10 seconds.
