Homemade Bailey's Irish Cream Recipe

The preparation time of this recipe will just be two minutes. Include the refrigeration time and you will need only 2 hours and 10 minutes to enjoy your very own version of Bailey's Irish cream. The above recipe will yield 4 cups of Irish cream. If you want more, you just have to add ingredients as needed. Refrigerated Irish cream can reach up to two months! Awesome

You Will need:

  • 1 tablespoon of espresso powder
  • 1 ¼ cup of Irish whiskey
  • ½ cup of heavy cream
  • 1 can of condensed sweetened milk
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of almond extract

Procedure:

Step 1.

Get a blender and pour all ingredients into it. Blend until all the ingredients have been fully mixed with each other.

Step 2.

Open the blender. Take a whiff of the resulting mixture. Surely, your senses will be awakened by its strong smell. Now that you have enough of it, pour the mixture into either a glass jar or a bottle. Seal it well.

Step 3.

Place the jars in the refrigerator and chill for about two hours.

Step 4.

Shake well before you serve it.

If you wish to tweak the recipe a little bit, you can! After all, that is the charm of going homemade. You can try substituting dark chocolate for the cocoa and the result would be a less sweeter Irish cream version. On the other hand, you can also add in four eggs before blending in order to make the drink richer and thicker.
