Started in 2007, “Cooking With Dog” is a YouTube cooking show narrated by a toy poodle named Francis, featuring an anonymous professional cook only known as Chef. In the cooking program, Chef does the work of preparing and cooking the ingredients for all of the meals—which are primarily authentic Japanese recipes such as Yakibuta Ramen Noodles and Mochi Ice Cream—while Francis gives play-by-play instructions sitting in a chair on the side of Chef.

With over 200 videos and 1 million subscribers on their YouTube channel, “Cooking With Dog” has separated itself from other basic cooking shows, making it a true delight to watch not only because it actually teaches you to cook delicious meals, but also because it's entertaining enough to make you want more.

One of the best things about the show is that each video focuses on a single dish, which is both simple to prepare and extremely cheap to put together (two things that I personally love). All of these factors make “Cooking With Dog” one of the best cooking shows, online and on television. Dip your toes into the world of Chef and Francis by watching the dynamic duo prepare Oyakodon (Chicken and Egg Bowl Recipe).
